The Feels
- What’s your intention for the week?
- What are your favorite ways to cook chicken sausage? (Random, I know, but I bought them and now I don’t know what to do with them)
- What’s your favorite margarita flavor?
Looks like you had a great first week in Chicago!
Especially because i got to go ice skating đŸ™‚
What a perfect week! Chicken sausage is the best cause you can do anything with it- make it with pasta and spinach, put it in eggs, cook it over rice and veggies.
Do you sautee it? Those all sound like great ideas!
Yep! Usually the chicken sausage I buy is already fully cooked, so you just need to cut it up and brown the pieces in a pan.
It looks like you’ve been enjoying your first week! Working out+grocery shopping+Starbucks=all I need in life haha
Right?! We have the same brain!
SEE YOU TONIGHT!
Cant wait!!!!
great quote — really like that. look at you having alllll the fun! enjoyed reading this post. the adult jungle gym workout and the posing-with-mannequins is rad. i don’t like chicken sausage or margaritas (hope we can still be friends) so i’m a fail on those. i like martinis, though? does that count?
That quote really struck a chord with me. No margaritas?! Gasp!!
I don’t know if I should be impressed or in shock that you spent $130 dollars at a casual mexican restaurant. Haha! I imagine you left feeling pretty good? đŸ™‚
Chicken sausage in pasta is delicious.. or wait topped on homemade pizza is even better!
Well it was between three people but still – we were floored!
Ice skating a tequila sounds like the perfect time! đŸ™‚
Haha just not combined đŸ˜‰
I am so jealous of your workouts! Such a variety it must have been a blast! Chicago sounds fun too!
Workout variety is my favorite! Im not sure how im going to stick with training for the marathon haha
The Runner’s World Cookbook has an AMAZING recipe for chicken sausage and rigatoni. I love love love it, and it’s crazy easy and quick to make. This isn’t as pretty as it looks in the cookbook, but you can basically the whole recipe here: http://www.runnersworld.com/recipes/super-fast?page=single
Thank you so so much! I love this recipe!
Speaking of Starbucks studying, I wonder if you can study at whole foods…
Im sure đŸ™‚ although it seems like itd be even more tempting
You’re like the 5th million person who has posted about ice skating this weekend and I just feel so lame for not ice skating too. haha
Get on it. Im sure georgia had its options đŸ˜‰ cutest pre-Christmas activity ever
I’ve never gotten a frozen pizza from Trader Joe’s but that one looks really good! How was it?
It was really good! Not greasy at all (so if youre in the mood for greasy goodness go elsewhere haha)
Skating in Millenium Park is one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season!
Isn’t it wonderful? It’s the most perfect Christmas activity đŸ™‚
Looks like a fun week! Love your new workout digs!
Yeah I get to try out a bunch of places around the city – I’m a lucky girl! The jungle gym is a blast đŸ˜‰
Looks like a great week of workouts lady!! I absolutely adore the Dalai Lama quote & just saved it on my computer for future reference đŸ™‚
Yeah I’m thinking about committing to saying it outloud every morning – I’ll feel like a crazy person at first but I really can’t think of a better way to start out my day. It’s a beautiful quote!
I haven’t been ice skating in years. It’s so much fun. Maybe I will go this year. All your food looks yummy. Can never go wrong w a good margarita.
Nope a margarita is the cure for all!
I haven’t been ice skating in years but we are going to NY next weekend and we plan to go then. Have a good week!
I can only imagine that ice skating in NY would be even more magical!
Good first week in Chicgo! I love the quote. I will never get sick of eggs either. đŸ™‚ I usually just cut up sausage and cook in coconut oil. You can also add it to other things. Reallyl good with Italian-style food in marinara sauce.
Good ideas! I have more coconut oil than I know what to do with đŸ˜‰ just a little obsessed
I was in such a cranky mood yesterday, cold, tired, you name it. Then, I went to yoga and about halfway through class I realized I had the choice to set my intention and to change my perspective. So I set my intention to joy and it made such a difference in the rest of my day đŸ™‚
It’s crazy how much it can change your perspective! I love it! I’m so happy that you had that experience đŸ™‚
Can’t complain about free tequila, lol! đŸ™‚ Looks like y’all have a lot of fun at the gym!
Yeah we didn’t ask any questions haha. That gym is my favorite! It brings out the kid in all of us đŸ™‚
Yay Im glad someone else is new to the city! Also, I must commend you on your wonderful choice of blog theme. Great minds…
I am ALSO studying for the NASM test! Well, not technically yet since I just bought it on Sun and am waiting for the book, but basically we are the same person.
Great minds think alike!! Can’t wait to keep up with your blog and we’ll definitely have to meet sometime!
That sounds like the most fun week of workouts ever!
I was like a kid in a candy shop đŸ™‚
I am so impressed with your workout schedule! Way to go
I like the standard margs
The Doctor Diva
Margs are magical no matter the form đŸ™‚ and thanks! I was pretty proud of myself too!
