I did some exploring around Chicago over the past few days (perks of having odd hours now and having a few days free to spend quality time with me, myself and I) and was lucky enough to attend the wedding of a high school friend. We met in choir and she asked all of us to sing in her wedding, including our old choir teacher! It was a serious blast from the past, and was just one of the reasons that this was such a beautiful weekend! I’ve never participated in Marvelous in my Monday via Healthy Diva Eats, but today I knew would be a great week to start.

Best eats from the weekend was definitely the crab feast food. It was only the second time this summer I’ve been able to enjoy them and it was SO GOOD.

haha I just wrote a piece for my work blog (that is posting tomorrow, actually) about the art of the Staycation! Glad you got out and enjoyed Chicago some–and YAY for weddings. Weddings with your friends (as opposed to family) are just the best. And that green dress is top freaking notch.
You can live in Chicago and still feel like you’re on vacation every weekend – there’s always something new to do/discover!
